Systems Biology

What is Systems Biology? Given the technological “big bang” that has occurred in the biological sciences, the combination of experimental and computational skills has become an avenue to whole-genome, high throughput, studies in various and complicated biological systems. The combination of transcriptomics, chromatin architecture, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics (and others) allow to answer in a holistic manner scientific questions concerning the function of the cells and of the organism.
